Tennessee Athletics

Digital Internship

As a Graphic Design Intern at Tennessee Athletics, I gained skills and knowledge of basic web design involving CSS, HTML,  and file optimization. I also gained experience in T-shirt design and how to interact with clients.

Web Design

During my time at Tennessee Athletics I was given the opportunity to help assist in creating a landing page for Butch and Barb’s Football 101 in 2017. Below depicts my mock-up of an idea for the page versus what was actually realized.

Banner Ads

Another opportunity given to me during my internship with Tennessee Athletics was the chance to design banner ads to attract buyers to purchase season tickets for the 2017 football season. I found this project to be exciting as I was able to see my work used for the world to see. Below depicts varying sizes of the banners and their view on both mobile and desktop.

Pricing Table

Another project that I found exciting and rewarding was the pricing table that I designed for the company Tailgate Tennessee to be displayed on their website. I was able to code this from scratch and add most of the CSS. Utilizing both skills together made me feel proud and also helped me to realize that in web design simple is best as my iterative process will show.

VOLeaders T-Shirt Design

Though it’s not related to digital design, another fun project I was able to experience during my internship with Tennessee Athletics was the opportunity to design travel shirts for the organization VOLeaders Academy. Below depicts images of the T-shirt designs I made for VOLeaders Academy's travel shirts for their trip to Vietnam.
